Strengthening primary health care services has become one of the main priorities in the transformation of Indonesia’s health system. The implementation of Integrated Primary Care Services (ILP) requires strong service governance, sustainable financing systems, and the utilization of digitalization to enhance quality, efficiency, and continuity of care in healthcare services.
Amid the increasing burden of chronic diseases, disparities in access to healthcare services, and demands for greater efficiency in health financing, primary health care is expected not only to provide basic services but also to function as a center for coordinating integrated, preventive, promotive, and data-driven healthcare services.
This plenary session will discuss strategies for strengthening primary health care through service integration, health financing, strategic investment, and digital transformation to support a more efficient, resilient, and sustainable health system.
